Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
This calculator app may show advertisements provided by Google AdMob and partner networks. Ads may use advertising identifiers and approximate location derived from IP address for ad delivery and fraud prevention.
We do not sell personal information. Configure a Privacy_Policy URL in Firebase to replace this fallback page.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Calculator mobile application (“App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our calculator, split-bill, unit-conversion, and related features.
1. Summary
- Core calculator features work on your device.
- We show ads through Google AdMob and related partners.
- We use Firebase to load ad and remote configuration.
- We do not use GPS / precise location permission.
- We do not sell your personal information.
2. Information we process
2.1 Information stored on your device
- App preferences (for example, whether you completed the introduction screen).
- Calculator history / session data kept locally in the App for your convenience. This data stays on your device unless you clear app data or uninstall.
- Split-bill and converter inputs you type are processed on-device for calculations.
2.2 Network & advertising-related information
When ads or remote configuration are enabled, the following may be processed by us and/or our providers:
- Internet connectivity status and standard network requests.
- Advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID), device/app info, and ad interaction data used for ad serving, measurement, and fraud prevention.
- Approximate region derived from SIM/locale settings and/or IP-based lookup (not GPS) so we can apply regional ad rules.
- Crash / diagnostics data that may be collected by Google Play services or ad SDKs as part of normal operation.
3. How we use information
- Provide calculator, split-bill, converter, and in-app navigation features.
- Load remote ad settings (for example from Firebase Realtime Database).
- Show, measure, and improve advertisements.
- Apply location-based ad display rules using approximate region only.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve App stability.
4. Third-party services
The App may use third-party services that process data under their own policies, including:
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads — advertising and related measurement.
- Firebase (Google) — remote configuration / realtime database used for ad settings and related app configuration.
- Sponsored / website content — if you open a sponsored page or legal link inside the App, that destination may collect information according to its own policy.
Google’s privacy information is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can learn more about Google’s use of information for ads at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
5. Advertising choices
- On Android, you can reset or opt out of personalized ads in device settings (Google → Ads), subject to your device/OS version.
- Limiting ad personalization may still allow contextual or non-personalized ads.
6. Children’s privacy
The App is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
7. Data retention
- On-device preferences and history remain until you clear them, clear app data, or uninstall.
- Ad and analytics providers retain data according to their own retention policies.
8. Data security
We use reasonable technical measures appropriate for a mobile app (including HTTPS for network calls where applicable). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. International processing
Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country by Google and other providers that help operate ads and cloud configuration.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to certain processing. Because most App feature data is stored on your device, uninstalling the App or clearing app data removes local data. For ad-related requests, you may also use Google’s tools and your device ad settings.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
12. Contact
For privacy questions about this App, contact us using the support email listed on the App’s Google Play Store listing, or the contact method provided with the App’s developer account.
